Exhibition Opening & Auction June 5
This is a rough and tumble Doodler style exhibition/auction, so don’t ask too many questions. Entry is $20 (on events calendar). I need title/artist/any details/reserve price supplied in digital form via the booking page, as well as the artist/title on the rear of the work. Works supplied without wiring for wall hooks will be handled as best I can. The exhibition will be confined to the front gallery space so that is your answer regarding work sizes etc. There will be a winner judged by the entrants. I’ll clear out the gallery in the weeks leading up to the exhibit so tell me you are doing it but just bring your work in and we’ll put it up. First in best dressed, and nothing at all accepted after June 2. Whilst we are a fun family establishment, we are a family of drunk sailors, so be prepared for varying opinions and adult concepts.
I’ll have more details as time rolls on. Now go and make something.

The new gallery space is now up and running, and we are looking to offer affordable gallery space to the right fitting artists. To that end… Introducing the:
ALL New DIYE Package
This is a no frills “all on you” model. No-one else is going to do it for you so do it yourself, before you die. I’ll make the space hire as cheap as I dare. $600gst* gets you a month in the Doodler Gallery.
If you are familiar with the space it is the front lounge bar area where the car is. As a rough guide, it is suitable for anyone with 6-10 large works or up to 30-40 smaller ones.
We are serious about creating entry level art exposure, so I have recently changed and slashed the payment model.
The DIY New Art Monthly Exhibition Package: $600+gst* (no commission on live sales)
You hang and bump out on the agreed dates.
You promote (We will list it in our events calendar, and push on socials)
Opening night on the first Friday of the month.
Supplied images of your works can be offered for sale on the Doodler site.
No commission is taken on your live exhibition sales. We may agree to add any unsold works to our permanent gallery collection, sales will then incur a 25% commission.
This is a bare bones budget DIY option, but let us know if your opening needs any extras, happy to work something out. Enquire for more information. A range of full catering options are available on request. And in the daytime this is a design business so tell us if you need that.
Beyond the opening night we can be open all weekend or on request. At these times we ask the artist to staff the exhibition space.
We also can supply a payment mechanism on request, but as we incur fees, some minor charges will be passed on.

All of the works available on this site are available to view at Doodler Gallery located at 9 Fitzroy St Marrickville in Sydney’s inner west, and are the labours and loves of the talented local artists who patronise Nude Night Life Drawing. Most are framed, but If you have any questions about any of the original artworks, please send me an email.
Doodler Gallery is now open every weekend 11am - 5pm. A gallery aimed at giving local artists a realistic commercial outlet , and an exhibition space to encourage their further artistic development.
And it’s just a great place to pick up diverse, original, and affordable works of art, made by genuinely hungry young and old artists.
